Best tuktuk driver for Angkor tours!
Mr Kat was an absolutely fantastic driver and guide. We did the two day Angkor Wat tour with him and we cannot thank him enough for making it such a wonderful experience. He went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable, providing us with unlimited cold water, a soft drink, and cold menthol towels after each temple. He gave us lots of interesting information about the temples and their history. He was great company and ensured the itinerary allowed for us to visit the most popular temples at the quietest of times so that we were able to be fully immersed in them. He also got us a perfect spot to watch the sunrise. I cannot recommend him enough, he is brilliant.
He is passionate about providing the very best of service and our time touring Angkor would not have been the same without Mr Kat.

Mr.Kat Made Our Whole Trip Amazing!
Just used Mr.Kat for 2 days in early May and he was incredible!! We have not stopped raving about him since! I really think Mr.Kat made our trip possible – for some context it was over 40C/105F (plus humidity) while we were there which is unseasonably warm even for Siem Reap. Naturally spending all day outside in the sun was challenging, but we were pretty set on making the most of out trip regardless and that’s where Mr.Kat came in. He had TONS of cold water that we drank every drop of, cool menthol towels to help us cool down between temples, and perfectly planned routes so we could see the sites without the crowd. I think with any other Tuk Tuk driver we would have called it quits much earlier just to get inside for a break.
In addition to saving us from the weather, he also is so knowledgable about Angkor. He planned the perfect route for us on the 2 days we had to visit the ancient city (wish it was longer). Included in our trip was a visit to Angkor Wat with about 20 total other people in the building – absolutely incredible, a similarly empty Ta Prohm, the most perfect spot to watch the sunrise that he saved while our ticket scanning went slowly, stops at hidden gems in the jungle I hadn’t seen on the toursit websites. We elected to not hire a guide, so before each temple or building Mr.Kat would fill us in on everything we needed to know about the history and navigating the complex and even building techniques! He was great at answering questions too! He is also just incredibly nice, funny, and very patient. Angkor was a trip of a lifetime for us and a huge dream to visit for quite a while, I definitely cannot recommend visiting enough and will always recommend those who visit hire Mr.Kat!
